Dr. Chaurasia is a leading expert in Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR) and is among the first proctors for TAVI in India, with over 1,000 procedures to his credit—making him one of the highest-volume operators in the country. Beyond structural interventions, Dr. Chaurasia has vast experience in complex coronary interventions, including Left Main interventions, Chronic Total Occlusions (CTOs), and bifurcation lesions, and he is regularly invited to conduct workshops across India and abroad. His portfolio includes over 10,000 cardiac procedures, covering a wide range of adult and pediatric interventions such as ASD, VSD, PDA, and pulmonary AV fistula device closures.
He also holds a special interest in carotid and aortoiliac interventions, including treatments for aortic aneurysms and dissections via TEVAR and EVAR, as well as renal artery denervation for resistant hypertension.
As a passionate educator and innovator, Dr. Chaurasia has served as Course Director, Co-Director, and Faculty at numerous national and international cardiology conferences. He has played a pivotal role in training the next generation of interventional cardiologists both in India and abroad.
