Introduction

Dr. Amitabh Goel completed his MCh in Neurosurgery from SGPGI, Lucknow, in 1996 and has since held key positions at leading corporate hospitals across the NCR. He currently serves as the Senior Director of Neurosurgery at Max Hospital, Patparganj, East Delhi.

In 1998, Dr. Goel developed a strong interest in Neuroendoscopy for both brain and spine procedures. He was a pioneer in North India for endoscopic pituitary tumor removal, first performed during the 1999 Asia Oceania Skull Base Conference. A nationally recognized speaker on Neuroendoscopy, he has also authored textbook chapters in emergency medicine on Vascular Neurosurgery and Subarachnoid Hemorrhage, along with numerous publications in indexed medical journals.

Committed to the advancement of neurosurgical techniques, Dr. Goel actively leads workshops and Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, striving to elevate neurosurgery as both a science and an art.
