Introduction

Dr. A.S. Soin is a globally acclaimed liver transplant surgeon who leads India’s largest and one of the world’s most successful liver transplant programs at Medanta – The Medicity. Under his leadership, the team maintains an impressive 95% success rate, performing 25–30 liver transplants each month with consistently high outcomes.

With an unparalleled track record, Dr. Soin has personally performed over 2,500 liver transplants—the highest by any surgeon in India—and has carried out more than 12,000 complex surgeries involving the liver, gall bladder, and bile duct over the span of his 38-year career.
