Introduction

He has over 35 years of experience in the field of Surgical Gastroenterology. He completed his super-specialization (MCh) from AIIMS, New Delhi, between 1994 and 1996. Before joining Max Hospital, he served as faculty at several prestigious medical institutions, including GTB Hospital, RML Hospital, and GB Pant Hospital. His expertise spans the full spectrum of gastrointestinal surgery and GI oncology, with proficiency in both laparoscopic and advanced robotic surgical procedures. He has been actively involved in teaching and training surgical gastroenterologists at the highest level and has served as an examiner for MCh and DNB (Gastrointestinal Surgery) programs across various universities. Many of his trainees now hold prominent positions in the field across India.
