Introduction

After completing her postgraduate residency in Radiation Oncology at Christian Medical College, Vellore in 1992, she pursued further training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), initially undertaking a post-MD residency followed by various research positions. Since 2001, she has been practicing as a Senior Consultant in Radiation Oncology at Dharamshila Cancer Hospital and Anand Hospital.

She established and led the Radiation Oncology Department at Metro Hospitals, Preet Vihar, Delhi, before joining Artemis Hospitals in 2013. Her advanced training includes fellowships in 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy (3DCRT) and Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) from the University of Bristol; Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), and Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRT) from Yashoda Hospitals, Hyderabad; and CyberKnife SRS, SRT, and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) from Accuray International, San Jose, California, USA.
