Introduction

Dr. Sudhir Dubey graduated from King George’s Medical College, earning the prestigious “Sir Rupkishan Das Gold Medal” in his final year of MBBS. He pursued neurosurgical training at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), where he was honored with the “Silver Jubilee Award.” His pioneering work on brain tumors received international recognition at a conference in Sydney, Australia, in 2001. Notably, he is the first—and to date, the only—individual from India to receive the “Young Neurosurgeon’s Award” from the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies.
